Soulletting for Performers & Artists

Soulletting for Performers & Artists

As a performer, movement artist, and solo show coach, I know what it takes to bring deeply personal stories to life on stage. For more than a decade, I’ve guided artists in developing solo shows, monologues, theatre pieces, and scenes—helping them break through creative blocks and embody their work with honesty, precision, grit, and fire.

I don’t write scripts for people. Instead, I help artists bring their scripts alive. Whether it’s shaping a solo show, sharpening a monologue, or deepening a moment in a scene, my focus is on awakening the performance from the inside out.

The Soulletting Method™ integrates movement, improvisation, ritual, and imagination with theatrical craft.

Together, we explore:

•Developing characters with depth and specificity

•Expanding vocal range, rhythm, and pacing

•Finding the gut-truth and emotional core of the work

•Bringing grit, vulnerability, and presence to the stage

•Sharpening physical choices and specificity of movement

•Unlocking instinct, spontaneity, and raw honesty through improvisation

This process is not about memorizing lines or polishing the surface. It’s about uncovering what’s raw, real, and alive—and letting the work breathe through you.

Background:

I have directed numerous solo and ensemble productions in New York and Los Angeles, and with my husband co-wrote six solo shows produced across the US, UK, and Europe—including Off-Broadway at 59E59 and The Barrow Group. My work has been featured in The New Yorker, Cosmopolitan, Time Out, The Los Angeles Times, and more. My award-winning solo show, Naked in Alaska, received Pick of the Fringe at Edinburgh, Best Solo Show at New York Fringe, and Audience Favorite at Chicago Fringe, among other honors. It has headlined international festivals and been adapted into a television pilot.

Whether you are developing a solo show, shaping a monologue, diving into a scene, or breaking through a creative block, Soulletting provides the tools to make your work resonate from the inside out.
